How We Work
123EasyTech publishes free browser tools and plain-English guides. This page explains how they’re made, what they can and can’t tell you, and how the site is funded. Who we are is on a separate page.
Our tools
- They run entirely in your browser. Nothing you click, type or test is recorded, stored or sent to us or anyone else. The tools need no account and load no outside scripts of their own.
- We say what they can’t do. Each tool page has a “How it works” section explaining its method and limits. For example, a browser can’t see every key on every keyboard, and polling-rate readings depend on your browser and computer.
- We check them on real hardware before publishing, and we fix bugs when we find them or when readers report them. Each tool page shows when it was last updated.
Our guides and recommendations
- Our guides are research-based. We work from manufacturer specifications and documentation, standards bodies, independent measurements published by others, and patterns in verified owner reports. Each guide states how its picks were evaluated.
- We don’t claim hands-on testing we haven’t done. Unless a guide explicitly shows our own measurements or photos, it isn’t a hands-on review, and we label it a researched comparison.
- We update guides when products, prices or standards change, and show the date of the last meaningful update.
How we make money
Some guides contain affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we recommend, and our tools contain no affiliate links. See our Affiliate Disclosure, and the Terms of Use for what we do and do not warrant about our tools.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and code. Every page is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a person before it’s published, and every tool is checked on real hardware.
